Update for all zero of my readers

Two more weeks until I attempt to skate again. I've been eating like a horse, and I haven't been to the gym in over 2 weeks-- partly because I've been busy dealing with a sick child, a sick husband, and being sick myself, and partly because I wanted to give my knee a short period of total rest. It's time to get back on it, though. I dread the first trip back.

Our first home bout of the season is March 27 at the Petal Roller Dome. We'll be going up against the girls of Pearl River Roller Derby, and the carnage starts at 7 p.m. I'm not playing, and probably won't play until April or even May if I'm lucky, but I think I'm line coaching again on the 27th. Fun, fun! Weeeeeeeeeeeeee! It wouldn't be so bad if people would just fucking shut up and LISTEN.

I'm thinking about starting another blog because I'm so tempted to write about mommy related things, and that might not fit in well here. I want THIS blog to chronicle my journey from fat to fit, from couch potato to roller derby badass. The new blog will focus on my mommy and family adventures-- and the name? Mommy Needs a Xanax.
